Rush Limbaugh simply cannot resist Karen Finney!  Now he wants her to be his nurse and put him in a straitjacket!  Oooohhhhh the fantasies abound!

Rush’s crush on Karen took on new dimensions on Thursday when he implied that she,  in defense of her honor and the rights of women, had put him in some imaginary male version of a chastity belt.  He may just have graduated from the fourth-grade pig-tail-in-the inkwell level to the sophomoronic “words I need to know for the SAT” niche.

Limbaugh grumbles about women’s forum, MSNBC host Karen Finney’s ‘testicle lockboxes’

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Thursday slammed a Washington women’s forum because he said that MSNBC host Karen Finney and the other “testicle lockboxes” were attacking him.

At the “Fair Shot: A Plan For Women to Get Ahead” event last week, Finney had noted that many elected Republicans were afraid to speak out against Limbaugh or the tea party.

Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) agreed that Republicans needed to “take him on” because “people don’t support fear.”

“Women of Washington,” Limbaugh said on Thursday. “I mean, how many testicle lockboxes do you think were at this forum? Washington women? Ha!”

“She doesn’t come across as friendly,” he said at the time. “She doesn’t — she, you know, she’s like — my favorite name for her is Nurse Ratched.”

Well, not friendly to you, Rush!  For reasons obvious to all.

Now I am not exactly sure of what a “testicle lockbox” is, but when it comes to Rush, I am pretty certain his should be in one.   Clearly he has an obsessive case for Karen (understandably – she’s gorgeous and brilliant) as he did/does for the woman who he claims precipitated the term (Karen’s former boss Hillary You-Know-Who, also gorgeous and brilliant).

I sort of wished I had Karen’s phone number when I read this, but it would have been a waste because you shouldn’t call somebody just so that both of you spend all of your air time laughing too hard to speak.

You can catch Karen, and her gracious response to Rush’s grab for attention (should she choose to acknowledge it) at 4 p.m. ET on Saturdays and Sundays on MSNBC.  She really deserves a better spot.

Karen shared this on Twitter in case you missed Martin Bashir today.  What Limbaugh offered was a Greek “apologia” not an apology, but an explanation.  It was not even a good one.  Socrates would have given him an”F.”  Here’s what Martin’s outstanding panel had to say.

This week many were outraged by the unfair, mean-spirited attacks by Rush Limbaugh on law student Sandra Fluke, whose testimony Darrell Issa refused to hear among his committee of men regarding the importance of women’s access to insurance coverage for contraceptives.  Limbaugh’s tirades and inappropriate characterization of Ms. Fluke’s testimony made clear the fact that he had not bothered to listen to the story she had to tell.  It was also obvious that Mr. Limbaugh has no idea how contraceptives work or what purposes beyond contraception “the pill” serves. Here is Sandra Fluke on The Ed Show telling her story.

Last night Rush offered, online at his blog, his version of an apology for the language he chose to use in attacking Ms. Fluke. The fact is that a boycott of his sponsors, begun by Krystal Ball of MSNBC probably had a great deal to do with his sudden “change of heart.”  Krystal along with Karen Finney, both commented on The Ed Show  Friday night.  No fewer than three times, (I think it might have been four)  Ms. Finney called the Republican candidates for President cowards for not condemning Limbaugh’s attack in the strongest possible terms.  If you agree that these candidates, indeed all Republican candidates for office,  should denounce Limbaugh and his outrageous statements, please sign the petition below.

Many thanks to MSNBC and The Ed Show  for addressing this in prime time and for employing strong, fearless women leaders to comment.  The misogyny and sexism that we saw and heard against Hillary Clinton and other female candidates for public office continues in the MSM.  While The Ed Show was in progress, Bill O’Reilly came out in support of Limbaugh and his statements. Krystal Ball and Karen Finney stood firm and did a tremendous job Friday night.  As far as I am concerned, they knocked it out of the park!  Thank you Ed, Karen and Krystal!
